Certified Measurement & Verification Professional® Course
This CMVP program is established by EVO and Association of Energy Engineers (AEE®) to recognize most
qualified professionals in the area of measurement and verification within the energy
industry, and raise the overall professional standards. Qualified professional that fulfill all
the requirements stipulated by the governing rules of this renown CMVP certification is
allowed to use the CMVP initial at the end of their name. For more information about this

The International Performance Measurement & Verification Protocol (IPMVP®) is an
international protocol for performance measurement and verification (M&V). Up-to-date,
this IPMVP guideline has been widely used worldwide to ensure that guarantee energy
savings are adherent to by relevant parties, including Energy Service Company (ESCO).

This training is a two-and-a-half (2.5) days classroom training which is designed to
prepare participants to sit for the four (4) hours written CMVP examination at the end of
the training, proctored by an AEE/EVO-approved exam administrator.
Each applicant for the CMVP certification must attend this three-day CMVP course training program prior to sitting for the CMVP exam. Each candidate for CMVP certification must pass the four-hour written exam as well as meet one of the following criteria:
